Rodon Hotel
Iconic hotel gets a new coat of paint
Rodon, a traditionally built hotel in the picturesque mountain village of Agros in Cyprus, crowns a mountain peak overlooking the area and offers a panoramic and unhindered view of Agros and the Troodos mountains. The hotel derives its name from the scented roses (rodon in Greek) that grow in abundance in the region and from which the famous Agros rosewater is distilled. The Rodon Project, commenced in 1983 and was completed in 3 phases. The client's original objective was to built and maintain design befitting the traditional look and feel of the village.
Now, 33 years later, Rodon is currently undergoing an extensive brand transformation to deliver on modern consumer expectations and experiences, and as such, sports a new look and feel.
The challenge to MCM is to modernize this iconic and beloved hotel in this top to bottom refurbishment, without compromising on the traditional design that weaves the hotel in the picturesque village of Agros.
